Statement on Turnitin Blog Post Attribution
It has come to our attention that some Turnitin blog posts are no longer attributed correctly. In April 2021, Turnitin refreshed the accounts of Turnitin’s active blog writers and deleted the accounts of people who no longer write for the Turnitin blog. Deleting the accounts inadvertently removed the bylines of the writers’ respective blog posts. Our team is fixing the issue and restoring the bylines.
We are grateful to the vigilant members of the education and literary communities that pointed out this issue. It has presented an opportunity to refine and improve our processes, ensuring originality and proper attribution for submissions from guest contributors as well as our own content.
If you see a Turnitin blog post that needs an attribution, please send the link to press@turnitin.com.
